A celebration of the epicurean finesse by Michelin-starred British Chefs at The Dining Room, Raffles Jakarta.

Raffles Jakarta’s renowned dining destination, with its intimate dining area and state-of-the-art show kitchen – is home to the city’s most intriguing restaurant takeovers and star-studded culinary collaborations. Since its unveiling in 2019, leading international guest chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants and Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants have been making their way to The Dining Room.

With just 50 seats, The Dining Room is exclusively built to satiate discerning appetites for world-class gastronomic experiences.

 

Chef Ollie Bridgwater

With a decade-long association at the Fat Duckand Heston, Ollie Bridgwater is embracing a new venture, taking the mantle of Gilpin’s one Michelin-starred, 4 AA Rosette restaurant, now rebranded as ‘Source’.

Join us for the first British Soirée series as we welcome Ollie Bridgwater to The Dining Room.

Chef Liam Nichols

A Norwich native, Liam Nichols has been venturing in kitchens across the world. Hailed back to his hometown to showcase his playful and exciting cooking, he brings passion to the coveted one Michelin Star restaurant STORE.

Meet Chef Liam Nichols at The Dining Room as the second act of British Soirée at Raffles.

Chef Lewis Barker

Having honed his culinary experience for over a decade, including stints at 3 of Asia’s most renowned Michelin starred restaurants as well as Australia’s very best. His own restaurant, Sommer, was awarded One Michelin Star after just 6 months of operation, and retained ever since.

Chef Lewis Barker will brings his own creativity to The Dining Room as the third act of British Soirée at Raffles.

Chef Steve Lancaster

A name watched by industry observers since his arrival in Singapore, Steve is an alumnus of various Michelin starred establishments around the globe. His own restaurant, Poise in Singapore, was awarded one Michelin Star within its first year of opening.

Chef Steve Lancaster will be at The Dining Room as the fourth act of British Soirée at Raffles.

Chef Alex Dilling

Born in London but raised in America, his culinary journey started when working for the master of French gastronomy, Alain Ducasse. His unrivalled technical ability makes him one of the world’s greatest culinary talents.He opening his first stand-alone restaurant in the summer of 2022, “Alex Dilling at the Café Royal” and awarded Two-Michelin Star.

Chef Alex Dilling will be at The Dining Room as the fifth act of British Soirée at Raffles.

Poolside bites and refreshing cocktails await at Raffles Jakarta’s stylish rooftop garden. 

Situated on the 14th floor, the poolside bar offers a serene respite from the hubbub of the city. PASTRY CHEF

Putra Anom Gentar Alam has always had a sweet tooth. As a kid, he would save up his allowance to buy jajanan and other sweet treats. Chef Anom joined Raffles Jakarta as pastry chef in July 2021 after a number of stints in Jakarta and Dubai. All the sweets he ate as a young boy must have pushed Chef Anom towards the culinary arts, as he ventured into professional life. He holds a Hotel Management degree from STP Sahid and a Masters degree major in Gastronomy and Nutrition from Trisakti Institute of Tourism. Prior to his current position, Chef Anom had worked at One & Only Royal Mirage, Dubai, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai and most recently The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta Pacific Place.

Chef Anom is constantly experimenting with different flavor profiles in his pastries. He loves marrying classic French techniques with Indonesian flavors and fruits. Expect bursts of local citrus and guava, his favorite fruit, in his creations.

Showcasing unique collaborations between Raffles Jakarta and prominent guest chefs around the world, Raffles Jakarta carved its journey toward Jakarta culinary scene with its Restaurant Take Overs.

Celebrity chefs from world-renowned restaurants who have served at The Dining Room include Chef Julien Royer of Odette Singapore, Chef Kirk Westway of Jaan Singapore, and Chef Richie Lin of Mume Taipei.

High Society Events

Earlier this November, Prestige Indonesia held its signature #PrestigeLadiesLuncheon at the Dining Room of Raffles Jakarta. This time, the magazine collaborated with Chopard and The Time Place.

The latest iteration of the Ladies Luncheon was hosted by none other than Cisca Becker. The invited VIP guests enjoyed a wonderful lunch, which was followed by a styling session led by stylist Peter Zewet featuring various watches and jewelry pieces from Chopard’s Happy Hearts collection.

Lukman Hakim has been appointed Executive Sous Chef of Arts Café by Raffles, leading Raffles Jakarta’s iconic all-day restaurant as it transforms into an elevated, globally-inspired dining destination. Since joining Raffles Jakarta early this year, he has been occupied with revamping Arts Café by Raffles’ culinary offering. From developing a dedicated Japanese Corner to crafting an evolving menu for The Show Kitchen, Chef Lukman has been reinventing the menu, adding his globally-inspired stamp and playful twist on the classics.

Under Chef Lukman, Arts Café by Raffles is an invitation to embark on a gastronomic adventure.

“We want to invite the guests to taste our brand-new range of house specialties. From dry-aged meat to the evolving menu at The Show Kitchen, we aim to challenge the guests’ palate with a playful reinvention of globally-inspired cuisine,” - Chef Lukman.

Renowned for the popular Charcoal Brunch in 2021, Raffles Jakarta presents “Butcher’s Table” at Arts Cafe.
